This site is a product of the "Theme development should not be necessary to use Backdrop CMS" initiative or as it is frequently referred to, the "Ready to Wear" initiative. This site was set up to help test and showcase contributed themes available for Backdrop CMS. Our goal is to encourage the development of themes that will work "out of the box" for many users, especially those with relatively basic needs.
We are configuring this website with very commonly used elements so that users can see what effect each of these themes might have on their elements. Also, this site can be a tool for theme developers to test there theme under this specific set of features. If you would like to see a theme added to this site, let us know. We have not added theme frameworks such as bootstrap at this time, because they don't display well anyway and are really intended for individuals ready to create their own sub-theme.
